Mick is a self-described “hopeless moral failure” rescued by the marvelous grace of God. Before he and his wife Susie came to Charlottesville to plant All Nations Church, Mick spent the past 11 years serving as the pastor to Church of the Redeemer, a church plant that brought two congregations together in Cortland, NY. Though not a native Charlottesvillian, Mick has roots in Charlottesville going back to 1993.
Mick has degrees from SUNY at Cortland, Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv) in Jackson, MS, and Covenant Theological Seminary (DMin) in St. Louis, MO. In addition to rooting for the New York Yankees, Mick goes to the gym to “pick up heavy stuff and put it back down,” and spends his best time with Susie. They have four adult children and seven grandchildren who live in the Charlottesville area.
